Cumberland County District RCMP requests public assistance to identify persons of interest
Cumberland County District RCMP is investigating thefts of propane tanks from three locations in Cumberland County in the early morning hours of February 21 and 22.
On February 21 at approximately 2:00 a.m. two people attended a market on Hwy. 4 in Wentworth and took 15 20-pound tanks of propane from a locked storage container.
On February 22 at approximately 3:10 a.m. two people attended a gas station on Junction Rd. in Springhill and took 14 20-pound tanks of propane from a locked storage container.
On February 22 at approximately 3:40 a.m. two people attended a community centre on Main St. in Springhill and took two 20-pound and two 40-pound tanks of propane from a storage area outside the centre.
Images of those believed to be involved in each of the incidents were captured on video surveillance.
