Update 6:05 p.m. – Aaron Daniel Crawley has been safely arrested. Emergency alert has been cancelled. The investigation is ongoing and officers remain at the scene of the earlier hit & run. Shrewsbury Rd. remains closed from Woodbury Dr. to Sherwood St

Alert issued: Dangerous man: Last seen Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, unknown direction of travel.

RCMP searching for Aaron Daniel Crawley who is believed to be involved in a hit and run in Cole Harbour. One person injured. Crawley is believed to be driving a dark grey Mercedes C300, NS plate GVM 350. Crawley is described as a black man, 33 years old, short curly hair, wearing a black hoodie.

Update 4 p.m. – RCMP officers are asking the public to be on the lookout for a grey 2009 Mercedes C300 bearing NS plate GVM350 involved in the collision. If seen call 9-1-1, do not approach the vehicle.

RCMP on scene of a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Shrewsbury Rd. in Cole Harbour. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Shrewsbury Rd. is closed from Woodbury Dr. to Sherwood St. Expect delays.
