Traffic Delay – Atlantic Club of Ganesh Festival Parade
Date: Saturday, September 16
Time: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Details: The parade begin on Cogswell Street, adjacent to the Emera Oval. It will then proceed to North Park Street and Cunard Street – ending at Princess Place.
Traffic impact: The parade will proceed along the inner lanes adjacent to the Halifax Common. Westbound lanes of Cogswell Street will be closed between North Park Street and Robie Street, where the parade will marshall.

Traffic Delays – Intersection of Windmill Road at Albro Lake Road
Location: Intersection of Windmill Road at Albro Lake Road
Date: Wednesday, September 13
Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Work details: This work is for pavement maintenance, which supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: During this work, the traffic signals will be shut down and traffic control personnel will be in place to direct traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists. Motorists should expect delays and use alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic Delay – Purcells Cove Road
Location: 1014 Purcells Cove Road
Date: Thursday, September 14
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work details: This work is to facilitate the installation of natural gas pipeline.
Traffic impacts: Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. Motorists should expect delays and use alternative routes.

Road Closure – Jam Lane
Location: Jam Lane near the intersection of Larry Uteck Boulevard and Brookline Drive
Date: Thursday, September 14
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work Details: This work is to facilitate the installation of utility poles.
Traffic Impact: Larry Uteck Boulevard will be closed to northbound traffic between Brookline Drive and Broad Street North. Northbound traffic will be detoured via Broad Street. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.

Road Closure – Ochterloney Street
Location: 61 Ochterloney Street
Date: Wednesday, September 13
Time: 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Work details: This work is to support underground utility work, which supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: : One lane of traffic maintained at all time and traffic control personnel will be on-site while work is underway. Pedestrian access will be always maintained. Motorists are advice to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic Delay – Caldwell Road
Location: Caldwell Road from Deerbrook Drive to Nova Terrace
Date: Monday, September 11 to Monday, October 2
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work details: This work includes sidewalk renewal in support of the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic Delay – Beaverbank Road
Location: Beaverbank Road, from Majestic Avenue to Danny Drive
Date: Friday, Sept. 8 to Monday, Sept. 25
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (weekdays only, except Sunday, Sept. 10)
Work details: This work includes asphalt repair, in support of the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Cloverville Road, Cloverville
Cloverville Road, 150 metres south of Walsh Post Road, is closed for culvert replacement until September 15.
Detour signs are in place.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Salt Springs Brook Bridge, Trunk 7
Salt Springs Brook Bridge on Trunk 7, about four kilometres south of the Town of Antigonish, is reduced to one lane until further notice for repairs.
Temporary traffic signals are in place.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trunk 4, Antigonish
Trunk 4 between James and Church streets is closed, except to local traffic, until September 16 for construction of a roundabout.
Detour signs are in place.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 105, North Sydney
The intersection of Highway 105 and Tobin Road is reduced to one lane for roadwork until September 29.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Donaldson Bridge, French River
Donaldson Bridge on Lake Road, about three kilometres west of Tatamagouche, is closed until further notice.
The detours are on Trout Brook Road and Cooper Road.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Old Truro Road, Tatamagouche
Old Truro Road, from Kennedy Hill intersection to the Cross Road in North River, is closed until further notice due to a large culvert failure.
A detour is in place.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Salmon River Bridge, Truro
Salmon River Bridge, on Highway 102 between exits 14 and 14A, is reduced to one lane northbound until October for work on the bridge decking.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from sunrise to sunset.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche
Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice because of a bridge closure.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Fountain Road, South Middleboro
Fountain Road, between Hunter Road and Simmonds Road, is closed until October 31 for removal and replacement of the Howard Bridge.
Traffic will be detoured from Fountain Road via Simmonds Road and Keers Mill Road.
Vehicles more than four metres wide need to plan an alternate route because of the width of structures on the detour route.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16, Lincolnville
Trunk 16, from 0.2 kilometres north of the Old Monastery Road northerly to 1.4 kilometres north of the Lincolnville Loop, has alternating lane closures for paving and brush cutting until October 31.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101, Windsor
The eastbound off-ramp at Exit 6, Highway 101, is closed for the construction of a new interchange to downtown Windsor.
A detour is available via Exit 5A. The off-ramp is closed until October.

HANTS COUNTY: Hydes Bridge, Lantz
Hydes Bridge on Highway 277 is closed until further notice.
A detour is in place via Dutch Settlement Road, Elmsdale Road and Trunk 2. Signs are in place.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Indian Path Bridge, Bayport
Indian Path Bridge, Route 332, is closed for replacement until further notice.
A detour is in place.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104 and Highway 106, Alma
Highway 104 at Exit 22 to Exit 2 on Highway 106 is reduced to one lane for paving until September 22.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Highway 104, Port Hawkesbury
Highway 104, at St. Peters Railway overpass, is reduced to one lane for repairs until September 30.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame
Port Royal Bridge on Port Royal Road is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.

West Bay Road, from Nature Dream Boulevard, easterly for 3.8 kilometres, is reduced to one lane for roadwork until September 30.
Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Baccaro Road has alternating lane closures for roadwork until October 31.

Trunk 3, from Evelyn Richardson Memorial Elementary School to 350 metres west of Pas Lane, has alternating lane closures for roadwork until November 30.

Highway 105, from 3.2 kilometres west of Trunk 30, easterly to 600 metres east of Route 312, is reduced to one lane for roadwork until September 29.
