UPDATE: Arthur Mosher has been arrested

Arthur Adbul Mosher, 40, of Blockhouse has been safely arrested in Gold River, Lunenburg County. Mosher will be held in custody overnight and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court tomorrow.

UPDATE: Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit charge man with Second Degree Murder

The Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit has charged a man with Second Degree Murder in relation to a homicide in Lunenburg County.

On July 26, 2023, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a report of human remains being located in Parkdale, Lunenburg County, near New Ross. Investigators have determined that the remains are those of a man and the death has been ruled a homicide.

Today, the Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit charged Arthur Abdul Mosher, 40, of Blockhouse, with Second Degree Murder. A province-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Mosher and RCMP officers are making efforts to locate him.

Mosher is described as 5-foot-11, 220lbs, he is bald and has brown eyes. Mosher is known to wear wigs or disguises to try and conceal his identity.

Anyone who sees Arthur Abdul Mosher should refrain from approaching him and call police.
