Call for Artists: Keshen Goodman Library
The Halifax Regional Municipality is looking for an artist to design an original piece to be installed in the newly redesigned children’s area of Keshen Goodman Public Library in Clayton Park.
The Keshen Goodman Public Library is one of Halifax Public Libraries’ busiest branches, providing critical social infrastructure with a diverse patronage including newcomers, seniors, youth and young families. After the renovation, it will be 28,000 square feet with additional outdoor library and programming spaces.
Important dates:
- An artist site visit and information session will be held at noon on Friday, August 25 at the Keshen Goodman Library located at 330 Lacewood Drive. Artists must RSVP before August 24 to lindsay.cory@halifax.ca to be added to the participant list.
- The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2023.
