Traffic Delay – Halifax Pride Parade
Date: Sunday, July 23
Time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Details: Residents can anticipate traffic delays, street closures, and parking restrictions along the parade route. Some one-way streets that connect to the route will be converted to temporary two-way streets during the parade.
Traffic impact: The parade will circle the Halifax Common by travelling north on Robie Street, east on Cunard Street, and south on South Park Street. Traffic will be able to flow in the opposite direction due to the presence of large medians on these streets.
The parade will the continue south on Trollope Street, and then turn left on Bell Road and continue south on Bell Road and South Park Street. The parade will then turn left onto Spring Garden Road and end on Brunswick Street.
