Police lay charges in break and enter
Police have charged two people in relation to a break and enter that occurred overnight in Halifax.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a break and enter in-progress at a residence on Gebhardt Street. Officers arrested the two suspects in the area a short time later without incident.
Two men, ages 40 and 35, are scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face one count each of break and enter and trespass at night.
The 40-year-old man is also facing a charge of possession of break instruments.
