Can You Help Sheet Harbour RCMPNS solve a hit and run collision?

On July 4 at 7 p.m., Sheet Harbour RCMP responded to a hit and run collision at the intersection of Smiley’s Point Rd. and Highway 7 in Port Dufferin. An SUV was turning left onto Hwy. 7 when an eastbound pickup truck veered into the oncoming lane and collided, nearly head-on with it. Both occupants of the SUV were taken by EHS to hospital. The pickup truck left the scene. The SUV sustained moderate damage.

The pickup truck is described as a white Dodge Ram 2500 and it had Nova Scotia Licence plate FJZ224 on it. The plate is not registered to the vehicle. There should be damage to the front left side of the truck. If you have information on who was driving the truck, please contact Sheet Harbour RCMP at 902-885-2510.
