Update – Police investigate shooting
Last night at approximately 11:10 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a shooting in the area of Murray Hill Drive in Dartmouth.
A man was transported to hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
There will be a continued police presence in the area throughout the day as the investigation continues which may impact the flow of traffic in the area. The public is advised to take alternate routes if possible.

Police investigate shooting in Dartmouth
On May 2nd 2023 at 11:08pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a shooting call on Murray Hill Drive in Dartmouth.
One adult male victim was located and transported to hospital in serious condition.
There will be an increased police presence in the area as officers conduct the investigation.
HRP request that citizens refrain from going to the area.
