Man injured in workplace incident
Police responded to a workplace incident that occurred in Dartmouth yesterday.
At approximately 8:30 a.m. officers responded to a workplace injury call on Akerley Boulevard. A piece of equipment fell off a truck onto a person who was helping to unload it. The 40-year-old man was transported to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The Department of Labour is investigating the incident.
