RCMP charge man with stunting on Hwy. 103

RCMP Southeast Traffic Services has charged a man with stunting on Hwy. 103.

On April 12, at approximately 12:30 p.m., RCMP Southeast Traffic Services, Chester Office, was conducting traffic enforcement on Hwy. 103 in Chester, when a motorcycle was observed on radar travelling at 176 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. A traffic stop was completed on the Yamaha motorcycle. The driver, a 55-year-old Halifax man, was charged with Stunting and his vehicle was towed.

Stunting in Nova Scotia carries a fine of $2,422.50 for first time offenders and results in an immediate 7-day driver’s license suspension.
