Fabuloso Multi-Purpose Cleaner – Lavender Scent, 1.65L recalled due to potential for microbial contamination
Issue
The recalled products do not contain the intended levels of preservative which may lead to the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms during the product’s shelf life and during manufacturing. People with healthy immune systems are usually not affected when exposed to such growth, but those with weakened immune systems may face an increased risk.
Affected products
This recall involves Fabuloso Multi-Purpose Cleaner – Lavender Scent, 1.65L, manufacturing (lot) code 3015US78 or 3016US78 only. The affected products can be identified with the UPC 035000977588.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Fabuloso Multi-Purpose Cleaner – Lavender Scent, 1.65L. Consumers should take pictures of the UPC code/lot code in order to contact Colgate–Palmolive for a full refund of the purchase price (with receipt) or of the manufacturer’s recommended retail price (without receipt) or for a coupon for a free replacement bottle. After requesting a refund, consumers should dispose of the product safely according to local municipal waste requirements.
