Larry Uteck Drive – ​ Road Construction

 

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that road construction will take place on Starboard and Nine Mile drives, near the Larry Uteck roundabout on Tuesday, June 23.​

Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lane drops will be in place while work is underway.

Crews will return from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday at the Southgate Drive and Larry Uteck Boulevard intersection; and at the Larry Uteck roundabout and Starboard Drive intersection.​ Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.​

Glendale Drive – Road Construction

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents to expect delays on Glendale Drive, from the Rankin Drive to the Smokey Drive intersections, on Tuesday, June 23.

Crews will be on site from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ​ Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway.​

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.​

Shore Road Bridge – Pedestrian Access Closed

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that pedestrian access to the Shore Road Bridge, from Francis Drive to Government Wharf Road, will be closed Wednesday, June 24 to Friday, June 26 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. ​

This work is related to the Shore Road Bridge replacement project.

Construction During COVID-19: Construction crews will strive to maintain physical distancing measures, however, residents may see workers within two metres of each other while completing certain tasks which aligns with the exemptions outlined in the Provincial Health Order. If approaching construction crews, residents are asked to provide at least two metres of physical distancing.
