Residents invited to annual New Year’s Eve celebrations
The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to its annual live New Year’s Eve celebrations, taking place on Saturday, Dec. 31 from 9:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at Grand Parade.
This free event, with Eastlink Community TV as a provider, will include a live TV broadcast with artist performances including JJ Wilde and Devon Cole – as well the annual fireworks show and DJ set.
This year, the municipality has been selected as one of four cities participating in CBC’s national New Year’s Even broadcast. Residents are encouraged to come to Grand Parade between 9:45 to 10:15 p.m. for the chance to participate in the broadcast.
