Kings District RCMP responds to serious off-highway vehicle crash
At approximately 7 p.m. yesterday, Kings District RCMP and EHS were called to a single-vehicle crash on a trail off Bishop Mountain Rd. in East Margaretsville.
RCMP officers learned that a group had been off-roading when one of the off-highway vehicles overturned near an embankment, ejecting the driver. The driver, a 72-year-old man from Berwick, sustained significant injuries.
EHS provided life-saving measures, but the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
