Police investigate vehicle pedestrian collision

Police are investigating a vehicle pedestrian collision that occurred in Halifax last night.

At approximately 6 p.m. officers responded to a vehicle pedestrian collision in the area of the 6500 block of Bayers Road. A 33-year-old man who was crossing Bayers Road between Connolly Street and Connaught Avenue was struck by a west bound vehicle. The man was transported to hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.

Investigators with the Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate the incident.
