RCMP seeking public assistance to identify three men involved in a home invasion
The RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a home invasion that occurred in Cole Harbour.
On November 15, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion on Bissett Rd. in Cole Harbour. RCMP officers learned that a youth, who was the only occupant of the home, was abruptly disturbed by three black men, who had suddenly entered the home.
One of the men, who brandished a handgun, demanded if anyone black lived in the home. When the youth said no, the men immediately left the home and fled in a four door sedan, that was parked nearby. The youth was not harmed.
All of the men are described as being no older than 30 years old. Two of them were wearing black ski masks and the third had long hair.
Investigators do not believe this act to be random.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
