Police investigate robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth early yesterday morning.

At approximately 5:15 a.m. police received a report that a man had been robbed a short time earlier while withdrawing money from the ATM at the TD Bank located at 97 Portland Street. Two men assaulted the victim, took a quantity of cash and then fled the area in a vehicle traveling down Portland Street toward the intersection with Prince Albert Road. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, approximately 5’8” tall with a thin build and wearing sunglasses and a hoodie.

The second suspect is described as a Black man in his 40s, approximately 5’8” tall with a stocky build and wearing a hoodie.

The vehicle is described as a dark SUV.

Police investigate robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth yesterday evening.

At approximately 8 p.m. police received a report that a robbery had just occurred at Bombay Spices located at 530 Portland Street. A man entered the store, produced a knife and threatened the clerk before fleeing on foot with a quantity of cash. The employee was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20 to 30-years-old, approximately 5’5” tall with white hair and wearing a blue hoodie and a medical mask.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call​ 902-490-5020.
