Police investigate shooting
Police are investigating a shooting that occurred this morning in Dartmouth
At 5:27 am, Police responded to a report that a woman had been shot in the area of Portland Street and Portland Hills Drive in Dartmouth.
They located a 27-year-old female who had sustained non- life-threatening injuries.
Traffic inbound on Portland Street is currently being diverted and a heavy Police presence remains in the area.
The incident is not believed to be random. The investigation is in the early stages and updates will be provided when available.
Investigators in the General Investigation Section are investigating the shooting and are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 902-490-5020.
