Police investigating assault with a weapon
Police are currently on scene of an assault with a weapon in the area of 278 Lacewood Drive in Halifax.
At 2:15 p.m. police received a report of an assault with a weapon involving a knife. Officers arrived on scene and located a man who had been injured. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s wearing a brown jacket and blue t-shirt.
The victim suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is in the early stages. Additional information will be provided when it becomes available.
