Police investigate robbery
Halifax Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax earlier this month.
On September 16 at approximately 1:25 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at the Canadian
Tire store at 194 Chain Lake Drive. A woman entered the store, stole merchandise, and sprayed an employee with a sensory irritant when they approached her. She then fled in a vehicle that was waiting in the parking lot. e then The employee did not require treatment for their injuries.
The woman is described as Black with long dark hair and wearing a grey sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, black sneakers and a black bandana on her head. The suspect vehicle is described as a white Range Rover.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call 902-490-5020.
