Update 9:50 a.m. – Grady was found safe at approximately 9 a.m. this morning.
He was located in a field alongside a wooded area about 2 kilometres away from his residence. EHS attended to assess and treat Grady for signs of exposure.
Thank you to the ground search and rescue volunteers and Pictou County fire service volunteers for their hard work last evening and overnight.
And thank you to local residents for checking their properties to assist in the search.
The alert for Grady has been cancelled.
