Police Investigate Weapons complaint 
At 12:43 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a Weapons call at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, 1796 Summer Street Halifax, for a report of a male patient brandishing a knife.  The hospital did activate a security lock down.
Multiple officers responded and quickly located and detained the patient without incident.   Officers confirmed the patient did have a folding pocket knife, but did not commit any criminal officenes. The lock down was cancelled after the patient was released at the scene without charges.
