**** Amherst Police Release
Amherst Police have charged a 24-year-old Amherst man with mischief/damage to property in relation to destroying flowerbeds in the downtown area. The male is also facing additional charges that include uttering threats, fail to comply with release conditions and weapons charges.
Avery Grassing was arrested by police on the morning of September 6th and made a brief court appearance later that day and was held in custody for a bail hearing on September 8th, 2022.
