Annapolis District RCMP arrest youth in stabbing
Annapolis District RCMP has arrested a youth in a stabbing that occurred on Main St. in Lawrencetown.
On September 4, 2022, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Annapolis District RCMP and EHS responded to a report of a stabbing on Main St. in Lawrencetown. RCMP officers learned that a 21-year-old man had been stabbed by a 15-year-old female youth, after a physical altercation in an apartment. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. An 18-year-old woman, who was uninjured, was also present in the apartment at the time of the altercation.
RCMP officers safely arrested the youth and she was transported to the Bridgetown Detachment where she was later released on conditions. She will appear in Annapolis Royal Youth Justice Court on September 21, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
