Halifax District RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a stolen trailer taken from a business on Hwy. 7 in Cole Harbour and identify anyone associated to the vehicle of interest.
On August 8, Halifax District RCMP received a report of theft from a business on Hwy. 7 in Cole Harbour. RCMP officers learned that on August 7, at approximately 3:45 a.m., a 20-foot dovetail flat deck trailer was stolen from the commercial property. The theft is valued at approximately $10,000.
The trailer was bearing Nova Scotia license plate number T487603 at the time of the theft and the VIN number 7FNUT202XM1028881. A distinctive custom winch mount is located on the front of the trailer and the brake away cable has no end on it.
A light coloured double cab Dodge Ram pickup truck was seen leaving the scene towing the trailer.
