Halifax Search and Rescue is turning the big 5-0 this year! As part of our celebrations, we’re searching for a new logo. We’ve searched far and wide, and like logos such as the Central Okanagan Search & Rescue and South Fraser Search and Rescue.
We are really hoping to find the design for our new look locally.
Think you can help find our new logo that will be used to represent our team? You’ll walk away with not just bragging rights – but a cool prize package from Decathlon Dartmouth is up for grabs.
To win this great prize package, we have a few catches,
Badge must retain the shape of our existing badge. We’ve helped make this easy by providing a blank template.
Our name “Halifax Search and Rescue” must be incorporated on the badge.
While we have a thing for Arial font, we’re open to professional new ideas on the new logo.
We might also have a thing for certain colours, we’re not saying you have to use these shades- but they’ve been consistent in our graphic design to date,
– Orange CMYK 0, 74, 100, 0
– Grey CMYK 1, 4, 3, 90
– Silver- Oddly not specific on this one, but check out our existing shoulder flashes- that looks pretty good.
The rights to use the crest will fully become the property of Halifax SAR, and we reserve the right of final selection.
