Summer Events in Provincial Parks
———————————————————
Summer events at parks around the province are starting on Canada Parks Day, Saturday, July 16.

The activities at federal, provincial and municipal parks allow families to have fun and learn new things about parks and historical sites, the value of ecosystems and protecting habitat.

Events at provincial parks on Saturday include:
— Make and Fly a Kite, Blomidon Provincial Park, Kings County
— Smokey Bear and Cake, Blomidon
— Wild about Wildlife, Dollar Lake Provincial Park, Halifax Regional Municipality
— Trees and Me, Laurie Provincial Park, Halifax Regional Municipality.

Provincial park events were not held the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Efforts are underway to return to a full schedule of events in the coming years.
