Queens District RCMP investigating fatal single vehicle crash

Queens District RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred on Hwy. 103 in East Port Hebert.

On July 4,​ 2022,​ at approximately​ 3:20​ p.m., Queens District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a single vehicle crash on Hwy. 103 in East Port Hebert. RCMP officers learned that a car had been travelling west on Hwy. 103 when it left the road and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver the vehicle, a​ 38-year-old Blockhouse woman, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.

The passengers of the vehicle, a 42-year-old Yarmouth woman, a 17-year-old male youth and a 1-year-old girl, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

A collision reconstructionist attended and the investigation is ongoing.

Hwy. 103 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
