Municipality announces Dartmouth Summer Sunshine Series
The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to participate in the Dartmouth Summer Sunshine Series – a free, ten-week concert and entertainment series at the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal Park.
In partnership with the Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission, the African Nova Scotia Music Association and the Atlantic Federation of Musicians, the concert series will include 28 free, family-friendly community concerts and events for all residents to enjoy. Entertainment will include urban, gospel, classic rock, folk, country and acoustic artists, and children and youth entertainment will include the Kiwanis Mother Goose Festival, the Halifax Busker Festival, and multicultural celebrations.
All events are free of charge, and tickets are not required for attendance.
Residents are also reminded that Halifax Transit will be offering free transit service starting Friday, July 1, as part of the municipality’s Free Fares Fridays & Free Sail Saturdays program.
