Cumberland County District RCMP investigating fatal single vehicle crash
Cumberland County District RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred on North Shore Rd. in Malagash.
On June 12, 2022 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Cumberland County District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a single vehicle crash on North Shore Rd. in Malagash. RCMP learned that a motorcycle had been travelling on North Shore Rd. when it failed to negotiate a curve and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver and lone occupant of the motorcycle, a 38-year-old Tatamagouche man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
North Shore Rd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
