Spirit Halloween 48” Black Light Fixture with Bulb recalled due to potential fire and burn hazard
Issue
The black light bulb may fail, posing a potential risk of fire or burns.
As of April 8, 2022 the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 6 reports of incidents, and one report of injury.
Affected products
This recall involves the Spirit Halloween 48” Black Light Fixture with Bulb – SKU# 01536721, Model: LT-B48P.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Spirit Halloween 48” Black Light Fixture with Bulb and contact Spirit Halloween for a refund.
Consumers should be prepared to send a photo of the model number located on the back of the light fixture to guest services to facilitate the full refund. For more information, consumers can contact Spirit Halloween toll free at 1-866-586-0155 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm ET Monday to Friday or by email or online.
Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Spirit Halloween.
