Police issue 94 tickets for speeding and other vehicle-related offences
This week, the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 94 tickets in relation to speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
Since Monday, members of the HRP Traffic Unit issued 94 summary offence tickets: 28 for speeding, 21 for no insurance and 45 for other offences including invalid inspections, bald tires, driving with a revoked license and operating an unregistered vehicle.
The officers spent time in the area of Portland Street and the 111 Highway monitoring for traffic safety violations.
We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
