Police investigating suspicious circumstances ​

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a suspicious circumstance call that occurred yesterday in Dartmouth.

At approximately 8:10 a.m. a man in a vehicle followed​ a 13-year-old​ youth​ who was walking to school in the area of Lucien Drive, Whynette Place and Spar Crescent. At one point, the driver of the vehicle stopped and asked the youth if they wanted a drive. The​ youth​ did the right thing and ran away and told a trusted adult who reported the incident to police today.

The man is described as white, in his fifties, with a thin build, grey hair and a full beard. The vehicle is described as a red Dodge Caravan.
