Police investigate a homicide.
Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in Halifax early this morning.
At approximately 1:37 a.m., police responded to a weapons call in the 2400 block of Brunswick St. Upon arriving on scene, officers located a man who had been shot and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators remain on scene and vehicular and pedestrian traffic is being rerouted. Uniacke St is closed. Brunswick St is closed between Artz St and Gerrish St. Please use alternate routes to avoid delays.
The investigation is in the early stages, and police are asking anyone with information or video from the area to contact police at 902-490-5020.

Brunswick Street between Atrz Street and Gerrish Strreet, as well as Uniacke Street, has been reopened to traffic. The incident is still under investigation and further details will follow when they become available
