NS SPCA Adoption Highlight – Baxter

We are excited to introduce everyone to Baxter!

​ This 5.5 year-old Labrador Retriever mix is a very rambunctious and loving boy who will be sure to steal your heart. A home with children 14 years and older that would be willing to play the day away with Baxter would be perfect.​

Apparently, no one told Baxter that he is no longer a puppy because he sure acts like one. This bouncy boy is hoping to find a family that has a fully fenced in backyard where he can play and zoom around. If watching closely he almost looks like he is flying when going full speed! Despite Baxter’s energy level he is slightly over-weight and would require a weight-loss plan to ensure a long healthy life. We do not feel that he would enjoy living in an apartment/condo residence due to his energy level and would like to be the only pet.​

The weather is getting warmer and Baxter would love for you to come take him for a walk. Baxter is ready to embark on a new adventure and hopes he finds someone that will love him just as much as he loves them!

You can drop by the Dartmouth SPCA shelter during business hours to meet adoptable dogs. We do not accept online applications at this time.
