RH Illuminated Mirrors recalled due to potential fire and shock hazard
Issue
Loose components in the bulb socket can lead to over-current and overheating, posing fire and shock hazards.
As of March 3, 2022, the company has received 2 reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 63 reports of incidents and no reports of injuries.
Affected products
This recall involves RH’s Illuminated Mirrors sold in the following styles listed in the table below with an aged brass, antique pewter or dark steel finish, and use either Type G 1W LED or 5W incandescent bulbs, depending on the Mirror style, with a manufacturing date before February 2021.
The SKU number and date of manufacture are printed on a label on the back of the mirror.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled RH Illuminated Mirrors and contact RH to determine if their product is affected and obtain a refund of the purchase price.
