Police charge man in Dartmouth homicide

Police have charged a man in relation to the homicide of Ryan Lindsay that occurred in Dartmouth last week.

On March 4 at approximately 11:10 p.m., police responded to a report of an injured man at a residence on Elmwood Avenue.​ Responding officers located the man and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service identified the victim as 32-year-old Ryan Charles Patrick Lindsay and ruled the manner of death to be a homicide. ​ ​

Police have charged John Edward Adams, 36, with second degree murder and he is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.

Police are not looking for any other suspects and do not believe that this was a random incident.
