It’s World Wildlife Day!
World Wildlife Day was started by the UN to recognize all of the many different beautiful and unique species of plants and animals that we are fortunate to share our planet with.
It is also a day to raise awareness of the many species that are endangered or vulnerable.
Did you know that there are 8,400 species of plants and animals right now that are critically endangered and around 30,000 that are considered vulnerable?!
Flora and fauna play a huge role in our everyday lives from economical, cultural, educational, recreational and more!
It is up to us to do our part to help not only the endangered species but all species that we share our world with on a daily basis!
