List of HRCE school closed due to power outage
The following schools will immediately start the early dismissal process and close for the remainder of the day because of an ongoing power outage:

- Caldwell Road Elementary
- Colby Village Elementary
- Cole Harbour District High
- Colonel John Stuart Elementary
- Eastern Passage Education Centre
- Graham Creighton Junior High
- Joseph Giles Elementary
- Portland Estates Elementary
- Robert Kemp Turner Elementary
- Sir Robert Borden Junior High
Power is not expected to be restored to these schools until late morning.
