Police charge man with sexual assault
Police have charged a second man with sexual assault in relation to an incident that occurred in 2018.
At approximately 4 p.m. on May 19, 2018 police responded to a report of a sexual assault that had occurred overnight at a location in East Preston. The victim, a woman, was 41 years old at the time of the incident.
As a result of the investigation, today members of the Special Victims Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division arrested a man at police headquarters at 1975 Gottingen Street in Halifax.
Brent Alexander Julien, 33, has been charged with one count of sexual assault. He has been released on conditions and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
