Police charge woman for robbery
Police have charged a woman for a robbery that occurred in Halifax last month.
On December 22, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the RBC Royal Bank branch at 339 Herring Cove Road. A woman approached the teller and demanded money. She fled the bank with a quantity of cash.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested without incident on December 26 and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court to face a charge of robbery.
