UPDATE: PSA – Halifax Transit temporary service disruptions

Beginning Thursday, Dec. 30, a number of additional Halifax Transit conventional bus trips will be cancelled due to current staffing levels. These cancellations will remain in effect until further notice.

Halifax Transit temporary service disruptions

Monday, December 20, 2021 (Halifax, NS) – Based on current staff availability, Halifax Transit anticipates conventional bus service and ferry service will be impacted over the coming weeks.

Staff are working diligently to minimize service loss, and provide as much notice as possible to passengers. Based on current staffing levels, it is expected service loss on conventional bus service will continue for at least the next two weeks.

As a result, beginning Tuesday, Dec. 21, a number of trips are being cancelled in an effort to provide more certainty to passengers and allow them to plan ahead. A full list of cancelled trips can be found here: https://www.halifax.ca/transportation/halifax-transit/service-disruptions

As a reminder, ferry service is also expected to run at reduced capacity for approximately two weeks.
