Police charge man and a youth for robbery
Police have charged a man and a youth in relation to a robbery that occurred earlier this week in Halifax.
On December 22 at approximately 7:45 p.m. police responded to a report of a robbery that had occurred a short time earlier at the Halifax Transit terminal on Lacewood Drive in Halifax. A man, with what appeared to be a firearm, and a youth approached another youth and demanded money. The victim fled from the two suspects and was not physically injured.
A 15-year-old youth was arrested a short time later in the area without incident. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face charges of:
- Robbery
- Possession of a dangerous weapon
Yesterday at approximately 11 a.m. West Division patrol officers arrested the man in Halifax without incident.
Larsen Munongo, 22, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of:
- Robbery
- Possession of a dangerous weapon
- Breach probation (x 4)
- Breach of a court order
