Police investigating break and enters into jewelry store

Police are investigating two break and enters into a jewelry store in Halifax.

On November 30 at approximately 4 a.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter into a jewelry store located in the 1000 block of South Park Street. The suspects stole several gold and silver men’s rings and fled the area on foot. The first suspect is described as wearing a black jacket with fur on the hood, jeans and black shoes. The second suspect is described as wearing a black sweater with a logo on the front and black pants with a white stripe down the leg and carrying a black backpack.

On December 9 at approximately 1:40 a.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter into the same store. The suspect stole several men’s rings and fled the area on foot. The first suspect is described as 25-30 years old, 5’7” tall, approximately 150 lbs. and wearing a beige winter jacket. The second suspect is described as 25-30 years old, 5’10” tall, approximately 170 lbs. and wearing a black or navy-blue winter jacket.

The incidents remain under investigation by members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
