Police investigate shots fired

Police are investigating a report of shots fired that occurred earlier this week in Dartmouth.

On December 6 police received a report of a bullet hole in a window of a residence in the 100 block of Prince Albert Road. Officers located a hole in a window and what appeared to be a bullet in the ceiling of the residence. It is believed that the incident occurred sometime between the evening of December 5 and 7:30 a.m. on December 6. At this time, no injuries have been reported.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information or video from the area at the time of the incident to contact police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
