Power Outages Close Several HRCE Schools/Programs
Update
Power has been restored to the following schools and they will reopen for day:
- Bicentennial School
- Crichton Park Elementary
- Dartmouth South Academy (including the Pre-Primary Program in the Southdale building)
- Grosvenor-Wentworth Park Elementary
- Hawthorn Elementary
The following HRCE schools are closed today (Dec. 7) because of power outages:
Alderney Elementary
Bicentennial School
Crichton Park Elementary
Dartmouth High
Graham Creighton Junior High
Grosvenor-Wentworth Park Elementary
Hawthorn Elementary
Humber Park Elementary
Park West School
In addition, the following Pre-Primary programs are cancelled because they are held in buildings currently without power:
Kingswood Pre-Primary (117 Kearney Lake Road)
Dartmouth South Academy Pre-Primary (Southdale Building)
