**** Truro Police Release
The Truro Police Service has made an arrest in the Troy Whidden homicide investigation
Nathan Joseph Knockwood, 31 years of age, was arrested without incident in Truro yesterday at 4:30pm by the Truro Police Service.
Mr. Knockwood was held in police custody overnight, and today has been charged with 2nd degree murder.
The Truro Police Service can’t comment on motive or the specifics surrounding the case, as this matter is now before the courts. However, we don’t believe this crime was a random act and we are not looking for any other suspects in this case.
