Police charge three people in relation to break and enter

Police have charged three people in relation to a break and enter that occurred in Halifax yesterday.

Yesterday at approximately 4 a.m. police responded to a break and enter at an apartment building in the 5600 block of Roberts Street.​ Three suspects broke into the underground parking garage and proceeded to break into multiple storage lockers and vehicles. The suspects fled the area on foot with the stolen property.

Officers arrested the three suspects yesterday afternoon without incident and recovered a number of the stolen items.

A 30-year-old man and 17-year-old youth are scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face charges of:

  • Break and enter
  • Possession of break in tools
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Property damage

A 19-year-old woman is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face charges of:

  • Break and enter
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
