Police Investigate Robbery

Investigators with the Halifax Regional Police Service Patrol Division are investigating a robbery that occurred last evening in Bedford.

On October 23rd, 2021, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a male suspect entered the Petro Canada Service Station, located at 1611 Bedford Highway in Bedford. Suspect demanded cash and stated he had a firearm although none seen. Suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot, heading towards the Shoppers Drug Mart. No injuries. Small amount of cash taken.

Suspect is described as a white male, average height, late 20’s, wearing a hat, long shorts and a hoodie. ​

Patrol officers, with the assistance of K9 officer, conducted an extensive search during preliminary investigation, however suspect has not been located at this time.
